Mrs. Maxwell's 3rd grade class worked with Legos today in their Lego BricQ Motion Essential sets. Students were working together to build and test a creation that would shoot a ball 🏀 into a basket. 🧺 The students LOVE ❤️ STEM!

Please join us in extending a THANK YOU to our School Psychologist, Meg Harrison, for all that she does for students, teachers, and families at Abner Creek Academy. Meg spends a great deal of time administering assessments, analyzing student performance data, and guiding teams in determining how to best deliver services to our students. We are so incredibly thankful for her!

Our Creations Art group went on a field trip today to the Governors School in Greenville. They had a pottery class, toured the school, and ate lunch. 🎨

Congratulations to our next ABCD Award Winner - Fashieka Pearson, an assistant at ACA. The nominations speak for themselves! One said - She “is a joy! Mrs. Boyd and Ms. Wade’s K5 class had a fun visitor this week; A Woolly Bear Caterpillar! Students learned why some say they are “weather predictors” and they found food for it to eat on the playground. They also created illustrations and sentences about these unique caterpillars. 🐛
