Today, Wellford Academy transformed into a space exploration hub during our highly anticipated STEM Shut Down event. Every classroom buzzed with excitement as students and teachers dove into a range of activities, all centered around space and STEM learning.
Students got hands-on with building rockets, coding robots, and creating food models of the sun and moon. They took on the challenge of constructing astronaut boots and even designed rovers fit to explore the surface of Mars. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity and enthusiasm as everyone eagerly shared their projects and discoveries.
It was a day of innovation and exploration at Wellford Academy, inspiring future scientists, engineers, and astronauts right here in our classrooms!
