As Spartanburg District Five wraps up another successful school year, some special members of the District Five family are beginning a new chapter.
In a heartfelt ceremony at the District Five Fine Arts Center recently, the district honored our 12 2023-24 retirees. Together, these treasured employees have dedicated an incredible 196 years of service to our schools and district! The event celebrated the remarkable contributions of these valued staff members, highlighting their unwavering commitment to education and the community.
In thanks for contributions, the district presented each retiree with a clock, engraved with their years of service, as a way to remember their time in District Five Schools.
